March has come time to awaken

Break the silence deeply sleeping

And the stillness lasting ages

Once more to start freely moving

And the pulse start beating strongly

And the words set calmly flowing

Blow the dust out of the pipe ends

Rid the chains of rust they carry

And the pulse set free and roaming

And unleash the words from slumber

One another then shall follow

Join each other in the alloy

To bring forth the march October

In march start and onwards journey

Boldly reach out for October

With the tunes as flocks that follow

And the words as their companion

Shall the tunes then whisper softly

And roar load like rising thunder

With a leadscape on their shoulders

Or mere sunrays as their clothing

Shall the words not sing of sorrow

Leave for others words of lament

Proudly join the tunes sounding

Gallant ways the pulse beating

Take their place in the alloy

Fortify the compsound forming

And unite the substance growing

And meld matter made for lasting

To complete the march October

Mars est venu le temps de se réveiller

Brisez le silence en dormant profondément

Et le silence qui dure des siècles

Encore une fois pour commencer à bouger librement

Et le pouls commence à battre fortement

Et les mots coulent calmement

Soufflez la poussière des extrémités des tuyaux

Débarrassez les chaînes de la rouille qu'elles portent

Et le pouls libéré et errant

Et libère les mots du sommeil

Les uns les autres suivront alors

Rejoignez-vous dans l'alliage

Pour provoquer la marche d'Octobre

En mars, début et suite du voyage

Atteignez hardiment octobre

Avec les airs comme des troupeaux qui suivent

Et les mots comme leur compagnon

Les airs murmureront-ils alors doucement

Et rugir comme un tonnerre qui s'élève

Avec un paysage de plomb sur leurs épaules

Ou de simples rayons de soleil comme vêtements

Les mots ne chanteront-ils pas de chagrin

Laisser aux autres des mots de lamentation

Rejoignez fièrement les airs qui sonnent

Gallant fait battre le pouls

Prendre leur place dans l'alliage

Fortifier le composé formant

Et unir la substance qui grandit

Et fondre la matière faite pour durer

Pour terminer la marche d'octobre
