He colors every feather on a sparrows wings

When God paints, the wind blows

With a stroke of love, he dips his brush in the rainbow

Sometime’s I take for granted the simple things

I can be His biggest critic when it starts to rain

But there’s always a bigger picture I can’t explain

When God paints, the heart beats

Life begins, season ends and lovers meet

And I’ve learned that sometimes

It’s not always black and white but well defined

Quand Dieu peint, les oiseaux chantent

Il colore chaque plume sur les ailes d'un moineau

Quand Dieu peint, le vent souffle

D'un coup d'amour, il trempe son pinceau dans l'arc-en-ciel

Parfois, je prends pour acquis les choses simples

Je peux être son plus grand critique quand il commence à pleuvoir

Mais il y a toujours une image plus grande que je ne peux pas expliquer

La vie commence, la saison se termine et les amoureux se rencontrent

Et j'ai appris que parfois

Ce n'est pas toujours noir et blanc mais bien défini

Et je tends la main sur la toile et je prends ta main

Et mon monde est si complet

Quand je te regarde, un chef-d'œuvre est tout ce que je vois
