Filling her sphere

In dark, shallow water a beacon shines

Circulating her light

Guiding the ships, safely over the waters

Leading them through the night

Working men stay

Bending their necks over oars as they frown

Little girls pray

Rests in a nook

Sits at the bedside, no want to roam

Closing her book

Dans les eaux sombres et peu profondes, un phare brille

Faire circuler sa lumière

Guider les navires, en toute sécurité sur les eaux

Les guidant à travers la nuit

Les hommes qui travaillent restent

Pliant le cou sur les rames en fronçant les sourcils

Les petites filles prient
