One Day, After School - Arab Strap

I said with me around she’d never come to harm

And then she took a fork and stabbed herself in the arm

She used to wank me off but I could never heat her up

And she use to tell all her friends that I beat her up

I went round to her house one day after, after school

She’d bought me this steel ladybird thing, it was really cool

And then she said she thought there was no future for us

She chucked me then, chucked me out, and I cried all over the bus

And that sunday was my first experience of feeling alone

When she wouldn’t answer her door and she wouldn’t answer her phone

So I went round and banged on the door, I thought I had so much to say

And then the pigs came and told me to be on my way

It’d be nice to say then that that’s where the story ends

But she came way with some pish about still being friends

And she seemed sincere so I thought I’d give her a chance

And it was okay until I found her with her hand down someone elses pants

I pulled them apart, it was all I could think to do

Then another guy she knew flew to her rescue

He tried to kick my head in to impress her, cause he was trying to poke her

I came home greeting and bleeding

And my mum threatened to go round to her house and choke her

Et puis elle a pris une fourchette et s'est poignardée au bras

Elle avait l'habitude de me branler mais je ne pouvais jamais la réchauffer

Et elle avait l'habitude de dire à tous ses amis que je la battais

Je suis allé chez elle un jour après, après l'école

Elle m'avait acheté cette coccinelle en acier, c'était vraiment cool

Et puis elle a dit qu'elle pensait qu'il n'y avait pas d'avenir pour nous

Elle m'a jeté puis, m'a jeté dehors, et j'ai pleuré partout dans le bus

Et ce dimanche a été ma première expérience de me sentir seul

Quand elle ne répondait pas à sa porte et qu'elle ne répondait pas à son téléphone

Alors j'ai fait le tour et j'ai frappé à la porte, j'ai pensé que j'avais tellement de choses à dire

Et puis les cochons sont venus et m'ont dit d'être en route

Ce serait bien de dire alors que c'est là que l'histoire se termine

Mais elle est venue avec un peu de pish sur le fait d'être toujours amis

Et elle semblait sincère alors j'ai pensé que je lui donnerais une chance

Et tout allait bien jusqu'à ce que je la trouve avec sa main dans le pantalon de quelqu'un d'autre

Je les ai séparés, c'est tout ce que je pouvais penser à faire

Puis un autre gars qu'elle connaissait a volé à son secours

Il a essayé de me botter la tête pour l'impressionner, parce qu'il essayait de la piquer

Je suis rentré à la maison en saluant et en saignant

Et ma mère a menacé d'aller chez elle et de l'étouffer
