I write these lines, knowing this is my last night

I’m afraid of what will come… Behind…

One survivor of 25, shattered I arrived…

A substantial inheritance will finance the mission…

After many years, at last I found the sign

A sinister trace of certain ancient cult

And hypnotized I read the forgotten words

All lost in rotten books… Invocations

Then I caught a thread, a thread made of lies

Hidden in the labyrinth of abandon…

But a clear mark for my trained mind

I will be the first, I will be the One…

If these books are right

I know exactly where to find

There where others failed I will win the fight…

Years of plans, thousands of notes…

Showing me that at last the key was mine

I wanted to capture one of these beings

Waiting down in the abyss…

I hired a superb team of experts…

But I didn’t comprehend the magnitude

We arrived plenty of glory

Là où d'autres ont échoué, je gagnerai le combat…

Changer à jamais le monde tel que nous le savons

Ces créatures mi-poisson - mi-reptile…

Ils ne pourraient jamais battre l'homme moderne...

Puis j'ai découvert les Endormis

Attendre dans l'abîme…

… caché depuis que le soleil était jeune

Rêver avec leur temps à venir…

Et chaque nuit pendant que nous lisons les cartes

Nous entendons l'appel… Navigation…

Comme je l'ai rêvé.

nous y sommes allés

Au sud — Sous des étoiles inconnues…

Avec une forte conviction…

J'ai embauché une superbe équipe d'experts…

Mais je n'ai pas compris l'ampleur

De cette quête…

Échec, échec, échec, échec…

Nous sommes arrivés pleins de gloire
