Over in the Meadow - Barney

Over in the meadow, in the sand, in the sun,

Lived an old mother frog and her little froggy one.

"Croak," said the mother,

"I croak," said the one so they croaked

And they croaked in the sand, in the sun.

Over in the meadow, in the stream so blue,

Lived an old mother fish and her little fishes two.

"Swim," said the mother,

"We swim," said the two,

So they swam and they swam in the stream so blue.

Over in the meadow, on the branch of a tree,

Lived an old mother bird and her little birdies three.

"Sing," said the mother,

"We sing," said the three, so they sang,

And they sang on the branch of the tree.

Là-bas dans la prairie, dans le sable, au soleil,

Vivaient une vieille maman grenouille et sa petite grenouille.

"Croak," dit la mère,

"Je croasse", a dit celui-là alors ils ont croassé

Et ils croassaient dans le sable, au soleil.

Là-bas dans la prairie, dans le ruisseau si bleu,

Vivaient une vieille mère poisson et ses petits poissons deux.

"Nage," dit la mère,

"Nous nageons", ont dit les deux,

Alors ils ont nagé et ils ont nagé dans le ruisseau si bleu.

Là-bas dans le pré, sur la branche d'un arbre,

A vécu une vieille maman oiseau et ses trois petits oisillons.

"Chante," dit la mère,

"Nous chantons", ont dit les trois, alors ils ont chanté,

Et ils chantèrent sur la branche de l'arbre.
