Pourtant, dans mon cœur, la bataille faisait toujours rage

Tous les prisonniers de guerre n'étaient pas rentrés chez eux

C'étaient des champs de bataille de ma propre fabrication

Tu vois, je ne savais pas que la guerre avait été gagnée

Mais ensuite j'ai entendu dire que le roi des âges avait combattu toutes les batailles pour moi

Et la victoire était mienne pour la revendication et maintenant loue son nom, je suis libre
