Took the 79 a fridaynight

With a sixpack of beer and a bottle of wine

It was nine o’clock and I felt fine

Gonna meet the band and get drunk

Stepped out of the bus and looked around

There stood B-boy and Johan

They were drinking beer in the sun

Erik was at the bar

Another night in town

B-boys fooling around

All the shallowed people got us bored

And the cops were shouting — Beat the poor

Two hours 'til midnight, next stop was

The Royal Pub where all the rudekids rock

So he left us that fridaynight
