The Brighter the Light, the Darker the Shadow - Bloodthorn

In the far horizon a shapeless darkness filled the sky

And slowly with a faint whispering, making the air putrid and unbreathable

The nightshadow came crawling…

The ground was covered by fallen men, their bodies mangled and torn

Upon the Hillside the Final stand, and they knew they would come home no more

A deafening thunder shook the earth and lightning split open the sky

Rain fell like blood when the heavens turned black and the sun slowly withered

and died

Engulfing the fallen and standing alike, killing the living and waking the dead

A darkness so black it would make night seem like day covered the hills and the

plains

The hearts of the mortals, all but the brightest, turned to stone black as the

night

But the brighter the light, the darker the shadow that consumes the source of all life

Trapped by the evil he set out to conquer, his soul now cried out in vain

His mind was twisted and lost in the kingdom where madness and suffering reign

Deformed by the darkness the Nightshade brought

Condemned to be killed but never to die

Forever in torment, chained to the throne

Where the Nightshwadow rules with death on it’s side

Dans l'horizon lointain, une obscurité informe remplissait le ciel

Et lentement avec un léger chuchotement, rendant l'air putride et irrespirable

L'ombre de la nuit est venue en rampant…

Le sol était couvert d'hommes tombés, leurs corps mutilés et déchirés

Sur la colline, le stand final, et ils savaient qu'ils ne rentreraient plus à la maison

Un tonnerre assourdissant a secoué la terre et des éclairs ont fendu le ciel

La pluie est tombée comme du sang quand les cieux sont devenus noirs et le soleil s'est lentement fané

Et mouru

Engloutissant les morts et se tenant pareils, tuant les vivants et réveillant les morts

Une obscurité si noire qu'elle donnerait l'impression que la nuit était comme le jour couvrait les collines et le

plaines

Les cœurs des mortels, tous sauf les plus brillants, se sont transformés en pierre noire alors que le

nuit

Mais plus la lumière est brillante, plus l'ombre qui consume la source de toute vie est sombre

Pris au piège par le mal qu'il voulait vaincre, son âme cria maintenant en vain

Son esprit était tordu et perdu dans le royaume où règnent la folie et la souffrance

Déformé par l'obscurité apportée par Nightshade

Condamné à être tué mais à ne jamais mourir

Toujours dans le tourment, enchaîné au trône

Où le Nightshwadow règne avec la mort à ses côtés
