Jericho: The Shout Of Victory - CARMAN

Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the

Children of Israel… None went out and none came in

And the Lord said unto Joshua, «See, I have given

Into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof

And the mighty men of valor.»

And ye shall compass the city

The inhabitants of Jericho were perverted by sin and corrupt

Surrounded by walls so thick the chariots raced on top

With ladders, catapults and spearheads readied

And blazing in the sun

The armies of Israel stood waiting for commands of

War to come

For thirty-nine years Joshua was trained under

Moses' righteous hand;

And it was Joshua who led nearly three million

Israelites into the Promised Land

Now Moses was dead and the real test came:

Could he simply follow God’s Word

And do something that, to the natural mind

Would be utterly absurd?

Without Moses to ask advice of, or an

Advisory Committee

God said the wall will fall — «Just tell them 'shout,'

For I have given you the city!»…

Now God was putting into operation a principle of war--

Setting at our disposal weaponry that drops

Demons to the floor!

Something with tremendous power that

Assassinates fear and doubt--

It’s the high praises of victory unleashed by a shout!

When David played his songs of praise demons fled from Saul…

As Paul and Silas worshipped God, their chains bean to fall!

It lifts us above circumstance and lets God’s power flow:

The shout of victory binds the devil with chains that

Won’t let go

So, with the confidence of warring angels, Israel

Stood stone ready

To obey Joshua, speak to their mountain, and shout

For God was giving them the city!

Six days they marched around Jericho, and the last

Day they marched seven

While the Caananites jeered from their evil wall

Israel’s faith reached heaven!

Before any manifestation, with every brick still in place

Eyeball to eyeball--

They looked fear dead in the face

They didn’t wait to feel some earthquake or to see a lighting flash;

They didn’t need to hear a theatric rumble, or a mind-blowing crash

They prepared their souls for victory…

Now it’s God’s turn to come through!

They’d screamed their lungs out simply because

They believed God’s Word was true!

So, with the high praises of God in their mouths

Came a massive… there came a volcanic sound!

And Israel shouted in victory… and they shouted in

Faith and the walls came tumbling down!

How many know the anointing breaks the yokes of

The bondages of sin?

Sin can’t survive in the anointed, moving

Spontaneous praise of men!

The devil’s tormented sickness can’t function when

We worship and when we pray…

'Cause the church of the Living God is still alive and

Well today!

Now how many here within the sound of my voice

Are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ?

Are you ready to tear down walls that have held

You captive tonight?

Are you sick and tired of being «down and out,» and

You want to be «up and coming?»

Are you ready to let some strongholds fall that have

Never fallen before?

How many know it’s «not by might, nor by power

But by my Spirit» says the Lord?

Then in the name of Jesus Christ I challenge you

Tonight and I dare you…

I said, I dare you to forget the person next to you

And trials you’ve been in…

Forget religious «do's and don’ts and traditions

Made of men…

With a shout of victory on your lips, with praise

Declaring war

To leap to your feet right now and make a joyful

Noise and praise the Lord!

We worship You, we worship You;

Christ the Lord!

Christ the Lord!

Maintenant, Jéricho était étroitement enfermée à cause de la

Enfants d'Israël… Aucun n'est sorti et aucun n'est entré

Et l'Éternel dit à Josué : « Vois, j'ai donné

entre tes mains Jéricho, et son roi

Et les vaillants hommes ».

Et vous entourerez la ville

Les habitants de Jéricho ont été pervertis par le péché et corrompus

Entouré de murs si épais que les chars couraient dessus

Avec des échelles, des catapultes et des fers de lance préparés

Et flamboyant au soleil

Les armées d'Israël attendaient les ordres de

Guerre à venir

Pendant trente-neuf ans, Joshua a été formé sous

la main juste de Moïse;

Et c'est Joshua qui a dirigé près de trois millions

Israélites en Terre Promise

Maintenant, Moïse était mort et le vrai test est venu :

Pourrait-il simplement suivre la Parole de Dieu

Et faites quelque chose qui, à l'esprit naturel

Serait totalement absurde ?

Sans Moïse pour demander conseil, ou un

Comité consultatif

Dieu a dit que le mur tomberait — "Dites-leur simplement 'criez',

Car je vous ai donné la ville ! »…

Maintenant, Dieu mettait en œuvre un principe de guerre :

Mettre à notre disposition des armes qui tombent

Démons au sol !

Quelque chose avec un pouvoir énorme qui

Assassine la peur et le doute...

Ce sont les éloges de la victoire déchaînés par un cri !

Quand David a joué ses chants de louanges, les démons ont fui Saül…

Alors que Paul et Silas adoraient Dieu, leurs chaînes ont failli tomber !

Cela nous élève au-dessus des circonstances et laisse couler la puissance de Dieu :

Le cri de victoire lie le diable avec des chaînes qui

Ne lâchera pas

Alors, avec la confiance des anges guerriers, Israël

Se tenait prêt pour la pierre

Pour obéir à Josué, parler à leur montagne et crier

Car Dieu leur donnait la ville !

Six jours ils marchèrent autour de Jéricho, et le dernier

Jour où ils ont marché sept

Tandis que les Cananéens se moquaient de leur mur maléfique

La foi d'Israël a atteint le ciel !

Avant toute manifestation, avec chaque brique toujours en place

Globe oculaire à globe oculaire -

Ils avaient l'air mort de peur dans le visage

Ils n'ont pas attendu de sentir un tremblement de terre ou de voir un éclair ;

Ils n'ont pas eu besoin d'entendre un grondement théâtral ou un crash époustouflant

Ils ont préparé leurs âmes pour la victoire…

Maintenant, c'est au tour de Dieu d'intervenir !

Ils avaient crié à pleins poumons simplement parce que

Ils croyaient que la Parole de Dieu était vraie !

Alors, avec les hautes louanges de Dieu dans leur bouche

Est venu un massif… il y a eu un son volcanique !

Et Israël a crié victoire… et ils ont crié

La foi et les murs se sont effondrés !

Combien savent que l'onction brise les jougs de

Les servitudes du péché ?

Le péché ne peut pas survivre dans l'oint, en mouvement

Éloge spontanée des hommes !

La maladie tourmentée du diable ne peut pas fonctionner quand

Nous adorons et quand nous prions…

Parce que l'église du Dieu Vivant est toujours vivante et

Eh bien aujourd'hui!

Maintenant, combien ici dans le son de ma voix

N'avez-vous pas honte de l'Évangile de Christ ?

Êtes-vous prêt à abattre les murs qui ont tenu

Captif ce soir ?

Êtes-vous malade et fatigué d'être "down and out", et

Vous voulez être « up and coming ? »

Êtes-vous prêt à laisser tomber certaines forteresses qui ont

Jamais tombé auparavant ?

Combien savent que ce n'est "ni par la force, ni par la puissance

Mais par mon Esprit » dit le Seigneur ?

Alors au nom de Jésus-Christ, je vous défie

Ce soir et je te défie...

J'ai dit, je te défie d'oublier la personne à côté de toi

Et les épreuves dans lesquelles vous avez été…

Oubliez les choses à faire et à ne pas faire religieuses et les traditions

Fait d'hommes…

Avec un cri de victoire sur vos lèvres, avec des éloges

Déclarer la guerre

Pour sauter sur vos pieds en ce moment et faire un joyeux

Faites du bruit et louez le Seigneur !
