New Evolution - Chant

Shimmering light danced

on the water all year

dawn of the crumbling sky

the blue slurred so softly by suddenly a breath of wind

caught a golden carpet of crystal

i saw a buttery sun

and i watched as it melted away

in this new evolution

new evolution…

gripping white fingers

of the warriors came crashing

down around them

they would stream into spirals

from their vaulting paths

and the children of the earth

were never heard from again

in this new evolution…

sky met land again

on the crafty water

as some went frolicking

trotting down to the shoreline

the cold would settle in their bones

and gritted against their palms

and the children of the earth

were never heard from again

in this new evolution

new evolution…

La lumière scintillante a dansé

sur l'eau toute l'année

l'aube du ciel qui s'effondre

le bleu s'est brouillé si doucement par soudainement un souffle de vent

attrapé un tapis doré de cristal

j'ai vu un soleil beurre

et j'ai regardé alors qu'il fondait

dans cette nouvelle évolution

nouvelle évolution…

saisir les doigts blancs

des guerriers sont venus s'écraser

autour d'eux

ils couleraient en spirales

de leurs chemins de voûte

et les enfants de la terre

n'ont plus jamais été entendus

dans cette nouvelle évolution…

le ciel a de nouveau rencontré la terre

sur l'eau astucieuse

alors que certains allaient gambader

trottant jusqu'au rivage

le froid s'installerait dans leurs os

et se serraient contre leurs paumes

et les enfants de la terre

n'ont plus jamais été entendus

dans cette nouvelle évolution
