Maybe I don’t need a reason

Something inside, it holds me down and stops me feeling

I can’t even catch my breath, mmm

I’m never leaving

I should get out the house, but I don’t want the world to see me

I would only paint it red

Happens every now and then once in a while

Struggle getting out of bed, not gonna lie

They make you want to hide

They make you want to cry

They’re bound to come around more than once in your life

These down days

They blow me away

I look strong, but I’m such a lightweight

I need someone to say

Maybe I’m allowed to feel low

Surely you don’t expect me to be a superhero

I can’t always save the day
