He has wings, he has hands, he has lungs

He’s the sunflower wildman

He has hats to express any vision

Not feeling a thing

Cling like a fly on the acorn, sunflower king

Discuss with the voices inside

What a new day will bring

In the heart of the horoscopes flashing for children

The king flies

He is leaping down off of the ceiling

And behind the sink

Climbing the sunflower stalks for an oxygen drink

Back to the curtain call, nobody cares what you think

What makes the hot house enticing?

Groundskeeper, actors, and lords of astrology

Lost in its ever evolving tchnology

Sunflower wildman

Very strange and frightning old man

Who used to live by and within himself at the end of the street,

next to the woods

He had encouraged all the weeds and plants in his front yard to grow very tall

Around and over his bungalow

So that from the street, one would hardly notice that it was even there

Children would ride bicycles to his property

And as a test of bravery, one of them would be chosen, or would volunteer to

run in to the yard

Extract one of his sunflowers from garden, and with it run back to the bicycle

for escape

And the old man would burst forth from the front door entrance, Shirtless,

a small, dirty white beanie on his head

In swift and terrifying pursuit

And then… one day… some of the children rode out to his house

To find that all the weeds and plants and sunflowers had been uprooted and

cleared out

And his house had been completely leveled to the ground

And no one had any explanation as to what had happened to him or where he had

gone

It was nearly the end of that particular summer

And very shortly thereafter, a brand new ranch style brick home stood in the

lot that not so long before had been house and home to the legend of the

sunflower wildman of Greenview Plat

Rumor has it now, that some 40 years later, the entire east section of that old

neighborhood is to be the site of a new Target

Jardinier, acteurs et seigneurs de l'astrologie

Perdu dans sa technologie en constante évolution

Homme sauvage de tournesol

Vieil homme très étrange et effrayant

Qui vivait par et en lui-même au bout de la rue,

à côté des bois

Il avait encouragé toutes les mauvaises herbes et plantes de sa cour avant à pousser très haut

Autour et au-dessus de son bungalow

Pour que de la rue, on remarquerait à peine que c'était même là

Les enfants faisaient du vélo jusqu'à sa propriété

Et comme test de bravoure, l'un d'entre eux serait choisi ou se porterait volontaire pour

courir dans la cour

Extraire l'un de ses tournesols du jardin et avec lui courir vers le vélo

pour l'évasion

Et le vieil homme jaillissait de l'entrée de la porte d'entrée, Torse nu,

un petit bonnet blanc sale sur la tête

Dans une poursuite rapide et terrifiante

Et puis… un jour… certains des enfants sont allés chez lui

Pour constater que toutes les mauvaises herbes, les plantes et les tournesols avaient été déracinés et

vidé

Et sa maison avait été complètement rasée

Et personne n'avait d'explication sur ce qui lui était arrivé ni sur l'endroit où il avait

disparu

C'était presque la fin de cet été particulier

Et très peu de temps après, une toute nouvelle maison en briques de style ranch se trouvait dans le

terrain qui, il n'y a pas si longtemps, avait été la maison et le foyer de la légende de la

tournesol sauvage de Greenview Plat

La rumeur dit maintenant que quelque 40 ans plus tard, toute la partie est de cet ancien

le quartier doit être le site d'une nouvelle cible
