Hypocrite - Clawfinger

It’s funny how my title puts me in a position

Where I’m allowed to say I represent the opposition

Like I’m on a mission to overthrow the government

As if my ambition was to try and seem intelligent

I’m not even competent enough to win an argument

Or ignorant enough to be a little disobedient

But I still believe that what I say can make a difference

The problem is I can’t hear what I’m saing from a distance

No matter what I say, no matter what I do

No matter what I think, I’m not as good as you

I’m such a hypocrite, I’m so full of it

I’m such a hypocrite, I need another hit

It’s funny how I come across as some kind of a teacher

Considering I never even liked my fucking teachers

Now it’s reached the point where all the expectations

Are building up a barrier creating limitations

While you’re debating if I’ve got the right to an opinion

Well silly me I thought I was allowed to be civilian

All I ever did was say exactly what I’m feeling

Without filtering my thoughts to make myself appealing

C'est drôle comme mon titre me met dans une position

Où je suis autorisé à dire que je représente l'opposition

Comme si j'étais en mission pour renverser le gouvernement

Comme si mon ambition était d'essayer de paraître intelligent

Je ne suis même pas assez compétent pour gagner un argument

Ou suffisamment ignorant pour être un peu désobéissant

Mais je continue de croire que ce que je dis peut faire la différence

Le problème est que je ne peux pas entendre ce que je dis à distance

Peu importe ce que je dis, peu importe ce que je fais

Peu importe ce que je pense, je ne suis pas aussi bon que toi

Je suis tellement hypocrite, j'en ai tellement plein

Je suis tellement hypocrite, j'ai besoin d'un autre coup

C'est drôle comme j'ai l'air d'être une sorte d'enseignant

Considérant que je n'ai même jamais aimé mes putains de professeurs

Maintenant, c'est arrivé au point où toutes les attentes

Construisent une barrière créant des limites

Pendant que vous débattez si j'ai le droit d'avoir une opinion

Eh bien idiot moi je pensais que j'étais autorisé à être civil

Tout ce que j'ai jamais fait, c'est dire exactement ce que je ressens

Sans filtrer mes pensées pour me rendre attrayant
