Rotten Tongues - Curse Upon A Prayer

Our tree is no longer green

It stands dead

With burnt branches

Alone without its leaves

I lay my dimming eyes

Towards the falling sky

Let the ashes pierce the heaven

With this restless wind

The stars that once showed us the way

They have abandoned us, left us at the grave of hope

How I wish to see the sun

Before I must rest

So I could end its life myself

And drown the cursed whore in its own tears

The roots are cut and set on fire

Our monuments fall as they shall rise

With force the walls of heaven crumble

The saints, guides to blindness

Decorate this celestial funeral

With their deformed corpses

The noose is set and growing tighter

Our ruins beneath their empire

And I pray

I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve

Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them

Imprisoned by wrong path of faith

My bleeding hands pour out the growing hate

And we sing

Speak not now, and speak never again

Too weak to stand straight is too weak to bear the weight

OF ASCENTION

With force we stab his bleeding heart and tear his words apart

We shall rip off his rotten tongue and mark his name as none

For every face you’ve burned

For every childhood stolen

For every lie you’ve spoken

His throat opens

And we praise the death

Notre arbre n'est plus vert

Il est mort

Aux branches brûlées

Seul sans ses feuilles

Je pose mes yeux qui s'assombrissent

Vers le ciel qui tombe

Laisse les cendres percer le ciel

Avec ce vent agité

Les étoiles qui nous ont autrefois montré le chemin

Ils nous ont abandonnés, nous ont laissés sur la tombe de l'espoir

Comment je souhaite voir le soleil

Avant de devoir me reposer

Alors je pourrais mettre fin à sa vie moi-même

Et noyer la pute maudite dans ses propres larmes

Les racines sont coupées et incendiées

Nos monuments tombent comme ils s'élèveront

Avec force, les murs du paradis s'effondrent

Les saints, guides de la cécité

Décorez ces funérailles célestes

Avec leurs cadavres déformés

Le nœud coulant est fixé et se resserre

Nos ruines sous leur empire

Et je prie

Par conséquent, tranchez-leur la tête et tranchez-leur chaque bout de doigt

Emprisonné par un mauvais chemin de foi

Mes mains saignantes déversent la haine croissante

Et nous chantons

Ne parle pas maintenant, et ne parle plus jamais

Trop faible pour se tenir droit est trop faible pour supporter le poids

D'ASCENSION

Avec force, nous poignardons son cœur saignant et déchirons ses mots

Nous arracherons sa langue pourrie et marquerons son nom comme aucun

Pour chaque visage que tu as brûlé

Pour chaque enfance volée

Pour chaque mensonge que tu as dit

Sa gorge s'ouvre

Et nous louons la mort
