Once upon a time

A powerful king beheaded his queen

Her unfaithful deeds dishonoured him

And in grief he decides that all women are the same

He married a virgin every night

Only to execute her in the next morning light

Young Scheherazade

She has taken the pride to be the next bride

She told the king a fairy tale

But she didn’t complete and the night passes by

The king was curious — bout the story end

Instead to kill her — he wanted to see her again

Tell the fairy tale — forty thieves in the dungeon

Tell the fairy tale — Sinbad flew on the roc

Tell the fairy tale — bout the jinn in the lantern

Tell the fairy tale — a thousand nights until dawn

The next night as soon

She finished the tale and began a new one

She didn’t come to an end at all

And the king wants to see her again in his hall

So it went on for a thousand nights

Unto the king reprieved her Scheherazade had to tell for dear life
