At the door

Lady giant

Sweeping the floor

And she gives you food

And she gives you rest

And she draws you close

To her giant breast

And you know things now

That you never knew before

Not til the sky…

Only just when you’ve made

A friend, and all

And you know she’s big

But you don’t feel small

Someone bigger than her

Comes along the hall

To swallow you for lunch

And you’re heart is lead

And you’re stomach’s stone

And you’re really scared

Feeling all alone

And it’s then that you miss

All the things you know

And the world you left

And the little you own

The fun

Is done

You steal what you can and run

And you scramble down

And you look below

And the world you know

Begins to grow…

The roof, the house, and your mother At the door

Thought to explore

And you think of all

Of the things you’ve seen

Could live in-between

Only different than before

Wonderful giants

… Un grand, grand et terrible géant

À la porte

Dame géante

Balayer le plancher

Et elle te donne à manger

Et elle te donne du repos

Et elle te rapproche

À sa poitrine géante

Et tu sais des choses maintenant

Que tu n'as jamais connu avant

Pas jusqu'au ciel…

Seulement juste quand vous avez fait

Un ami, et tout

Et tu sais qu'elle est grande

Mais tu ne te sens pas petit

Quelqu'un de plus grand qu'elle

Vient le long du couloir

Pour vous avaler pour le déjeuner

Et ton cœur est en plomb

Et tu es la pierre de l'estomac
