Took one last look then tuned around

And as I did I heard the strangest sound

So I stopped, looked back saw a peculiar sight

A silhouette inside the pale moonlight

Derrière l'église, le pâté de maisons

Juste au moment où je pensais que j'étais allé trop loin

Il en a gardé un dans son livre préféré

En a gardé un scotché au tableau de bord de son camion

J'ai jeté un dernier coup d'œil puis j'ai écouté

Et comme je l'ai fait, j'ai entendu le son le plus étrange

Alors je me suis arrêté, j'ai regardé en arrière, j'ai vu un spectacle particulier

Une silhouette à l'intérieur du pâle clair de lune

Et quelque chose m'a frappé étrangement, d'une manière ou d'une autre, je savais
