It’s so strange how well I recall the times

Watching jet trails travel across the sky

And looking back I don’t think I understood

How much I wished to get up and fly

Wasting the days away caught up in all this mess

I’d made myself in search of a stronger self

I looked for courage to help me take a stand,

But went astray again and again

Don’t tell me the fate was all decided for myself

And everything I held onto, all that I believed lived and died inside my head

I won’t buy it, gonna fight it, catch a moment that feels right

If I hold it closer, I will see all my dreams come alive

The voice inside me says I gotta go the distance

Over and over, resounding within me

A passion once asleep is finally coming out

I may be learning, but I’ll try to be your hero

And change everything if you only believe it

Be the victorious melody in your heart

With a peace sign high up in the air

I will keep the story going

C'est tellement étrange comme je me souviens bien de l'époque

Regarder les traînées de jet voyager à travers le ciel

Et avec le recul, je ne pense pas avoir compris

Combien je souhaitais me lever et voler

Gaspiller les jours pris dans tout ce gâchis

Je m'étais créé à la recherche d'un moi plus fort

J'ai cherché du courage pour m'aider à prendre position,

Mais s'est égaré encore et encore
