When everything is wrong

The day has passed and nothing’s done

When the whole world seems against me

When I’m rolling in my bed, there’s a storm in my head

I’m afraid of sinking in despair

Teach me, Lord to have faith

In what you’re bringing me will

Change my life and bring you glory

There on the storm I am learning to let go

Of the will that I so long to control

There may I be in your arms eternally

I thank you, Lord, you are the calmer of the storm

You rebuke the wind and the waves

Once again I find I’m amazed & the power of your will

Cuz I’m a child of little faith

I feel the wind and forget your grace

And you say, «Peace, be still.»

There on the storm I am learning to let go

The white wave’s high, it’s crashing o’er the deck

And I don’t know where I go

Where are you Lord, is my ship going down?

The mast is gone so throw the anchor

Should I jump and try to swim to land?

There on the storm, teach me God to understand

Of the Will that I just cannot control

There may I see all you love protecting me

I thank you Lord, you are the calmer of the storm

Quand tout va mal

La journée est passée et rien n'est fait

Quand le monde entier semble contre moi

Quand je roule dans mon lit, il y a une tempête dans ma tête

J'ai peur de sombrer dans le désespoir

Apprends-moi, Seigneur, à avoir la foi

Dans ce que tu m'apportes va

Change ma vie et t'apporte la gloire

Là-bas, dans la tempête, j'apprends à lâcher prise

De la volonté que j'ai si longtemps contrôlé

Je peux être dans tes bras pour l'éternité

Je te remercie, Seigneur, tu es le plus calme de la tempête

Tu réprimandes le vent et les vagues

Une fois de plus, je trouve que je suis étonné et la puissance de ta volonté

Parce que je suis un enfant de peu de foi

Je sens le vent et j'oublie ta grâce

Et vous dites : "Paix, tais-toi."

Là-bas, dans la tempête, j'apprends à lâcher prise

La vague blanche est haute, elle s'écrase sur le pont

Et je ne sais pas où je vais

Où es-tu Seigneur, est-ce que mon bateau coule ?

Le mât est parti alors jetez l'ancre

Dois-je sauter et essayer de nager pour atterrir ?

Là-bas dans la tempête, apprends-moi Dieu à comprendre

De la Volonté que je ne peux tout simplement pas contrôler

Là, puis-je voir tout ce que tu aimes me protéger
