Active all night from spring to the fall

Lethargic state, they cling to the wall

Ripped from the wood, maniac grasp

Into the freezer, for air they gasp

Their time has come

No longer alive

Taxidermy, for this I strive

Wings stretched, and pinned into place

Forever impaled in this glass case
