Dragons in the sunset

Upon the darkened sea

Sailing through the mists of time

Calling unto me

Ghost ship black and gleaming

Lindens shining bright

Ancient kinsmen call my name

Far off in the night

My heart it stood restless

And I knew not why

Memory’s spark was there

A twinkling of the eye

I heard the thunder and saw the flash

The stormy sky did speak

A voice whispered to my soul:

You are not of the meek

Ways of the eastern stranger

Are not yours to bear

You have heard the raven speak

And seen the eagle’s stare

Battle’s pain and skald’s words

Horn of flowing mead

Steps along the lonely path

Where waits the eight-legged steed

Then I came unto a place

Of trees and running streams

There I saw heaven’s sign

A wheel that did gleam

Reality, then I knew

I had found my kin

Now I sail to that great hall

Upon the fleeting wind

Dragons sailing on the breeze

Black and gleaming beam

The hand upon the steering-board

Has set my spirit free

Lost no more to time and place

For I have seen the land

I have heard the valkyrie’s song

And I’ve touched Odin’s hand

Naviguer dans la nuit des temps

M'appelant

Vaisseau fantôme noir et brillant

Les tilleuls brillent de mille feux

D'anciens parents appellent mon nom

Loin dans la nuit

Mon cœur était agité

Et je ne savais pas pourquoi

L'étincelle de la mémoire était là

Un clin d'oeil

J'ai entendu le tonnerre et j'ai vu le flash

Le ciel orageux a parlé

Une voix murmura à mon âme :

Vous n'êtes pas des doux

Voies de l'étranger oriental

Ce n'est pas à vous de porter

Tu as entendu le corbeau parler

Et vu le regard de l'aigle

La douleur de la bataille et les mots de Skald

Corne d'hydromel qui coule

Étapes le long du chemin solitaire

Où attend le destrier à huit pattes

Puis je suis venu dans un endroit

D'arbres et de cours d'eau

Là, j'ai vu le signe du ciel

Une roue qui brillait

Réalité, alors j'ai su

J'avais trouvé ma famille

Maintenant je navigue vers cette grande salle

Au vent fugace

Dragons naviguant dans la brise

Faisceau noir et brillant

La main sur le tableau de bord

A libéré mon esprit

Ne perdez plus de temps et de lieu

Car j'ai vu la terre

J'ai entendu la chanson de la valkyrie

Et j'ai touché la main d'Odin
