Ah the sea is so great and my boat is so small, tonight it is cold as the waves

rise and fall.

My children are hungry they sit by the hearth.

their mother is anxiously waiting.

Of a man is expected to fulfill his deedsto flourish in business and to sow all

his seeds.

But the demons that travel beside me tonight, they pull at my strength and my

senses.

And counting my fish on my knees in the dark,

I’m glad theres enough for returning4.

Ah la mer est si grande et mon bateau est si petit, ce soir il fait froid comme les vagues

Ascension et chute.

Mes enfants ont faim, ils sont assis près du foyer.
