I could hear the merry-go-round last night

The sound was coming through the window in my bedroom

And Dion was playing on the jukebox

As it twirled 'round and 'round, ha!

It was such a beautiful night

But I snuck out the window, and I walked

I walked to the lonely park last night

That’s where the merry-go-round lives

Such a beautiful merry-go-round as it twirls 'round and 'round

And it plays Dion’s record, «Runaround Sue»

And I’m gonna sneak out the window every single night

And I’m gonna go to that merry-go-round

J'ai pu entendre le manège hier soir

Le son venait de la fenêtre de ma chambre

Et Dion jouait sur le juke-box

Alors qu'il tournait en rond, ha !

C'était une si belle nuit

Mais je me suis faufilé par la fenêtre et j'ai marché

J'ai marché jusqu'au parc solitaire hier soir

C'est là que vit le manège

Un si beau manège qu'il tourne en rond

Et ça joue le disque de Dion, "Runaround Sue"

Et je vais me faufiler par la fenêtre chaque nuit

Et je vais aller à ce manège
