The Battle of Armageddon - Hank Williams

There’s a mighty battle coming and its well now on its way.

It’ll be fought at Armageddon, it shall be a sad, sad day.

In the Book of Revelation, words in chapter sixteen say

There’ll be gathered there great armies for that battle on that day.

All the way from the gates of Eden to the Battle of Armageddon.

There’s been trouble, tribulation.

There’ll be sorrow and despair.

He has said «Ye be not troubled.

For these things shall come to pass»

Then your life will be eternal.

When you dwell with Him at last.

Turn the pages of your Bible, in St. Matthew you will see,

Start with chapter twenty-four and read from one to thirty-three.

In our Savior’s blessed words He said on earth, He prophesized,

For He spoke of this great battle that is coming by and by.

There’ll be nation against nation, there’ll be war and rumor of war.

There’ll be great signs in Heaven, in the sun, the moon, the stars.

Oh, the hearts of been shall fail them, there’ll be gnashing of the teeth.

Those who seek it will receive it, mercy at the Savior’s feet.

Il y a une bataille puissante à venir et c'est bien maintenant en route.

Il sera combattu à Armageddon, ce sera un jour triste et triste.

Dans le Livre de l'Apocalypse, les mots du chapitre seize disent

De grandes armées y seront rassemblées pour cette bataille ce jour-là.

Depuis les portes d'Eden jusqu'à la bataille d'Armageddon.

Il y a eu des problèmes, des tribulations.

Il y aura du chagrin et du désespoir.

Il a dit : " Ne vous inquiétez pas.

Car ces choses arriveront »

Alors votre vie sera éternelle.

Lorsque vous habitez enfin avec Lui.

Tourne les pages de ta Bible, dans saint Matthieu tu verras,

Commencez par le chapitre vingt-quatre et lisez de un à trente-trois.

Dans les paroles bénies de notre Sauveur, Il a dit sur la terre, Il a prophétisé,

Car Il a parlé de cette grande bataille qui s'en vient peu à peu.

Il y aura nation contre nation, il y aura guerre et rumeur de guerre.

Il y aura de grands signes au Ciel, dans le soleil, la lune, les étoiles.

Oh, le cœur des anciens leur manquera, il y aura des grincements de dents.

Ceux qui la recherchent la recevront, miséricorde aux pieds du Sauveur.
