Though He was in the form of God

Jesus did not deem equality with God

Something to be grasped

Rather He emptied himself

And took the form of a slave

Being born in the likeness of men

He was known to be a human and saint

And it was just that He humbled himself

Obedient be accepting even death

Death on a cross

Because of this

God highly exalted Him

And bestowed upon him the name

Above every other name

So that at Jesus name

Every knee must bend

In the heavens and the earth

And under the earth

And every tongue plea

To the glory of God the Father

Jesus Christ is Lord

Glory of the Father

And to the Son

And to the Holy Spirit

As it was in the beginning

Is now

And will be forever

Amen

Bien qu'il ait été sous la forme de Dieu

Jésus n'a pas considéré l'égalité avec Dieu

Quelque chose à saisir

Il s'est plutôt vidé

Et a pris la forme d'un esclave

Naître à la ressemblance des hommes

Il était connu pour être un humain et un saint

Et c'est juste qu'il s'est humilié

Obéissant, acceptant même la mort

Mort sur une croix

À cause de ce

Dieu l'a hautement exalté

Et lui donna le nom

Au-dessus de tout autre nom

Pour qu'au nom de Jésus

Chaque genou doit plier

Dans les cieux et la terre

Et sous la terre

Et chaque plaidoyer de la langue

À la gloire de Dieu le Père

Jésus-Christ est le Seigneur

Gloire du Père

Et au Fils

Et au Saint-Esprit

Comme c'était au début

Est maintenant

Et le sera pour toujours

Amen
