I long to look on You O Lord

Do not turn Your face from me

O Lord, hear my voice when I call

Have mercy and answer

Of You my heart has spoken

«Seek His face

It is Your face, O Lord, that I seek."

Hide not Your face

This is not Your servant in anger

You have been my help

Do not abandon nor forsake me

O God my help!

Though father and mother forsake me

The Lord will receive me

Instruct me, Lord in Your way

On an even path lead me

When they lie in ambush, protect me

From my enemies greed

False withnesses rise against me

Breathing out fury

I am sure I shall see the Lord’s goodness

In the land of the living

Hope in Him, hold firm and take heart

Hope in the Lord

Glory to the Father

And to the Son

And to the Holy Spirit

As it was in the beginning

Is now

And will be forever

Amen

J'ai hâte de te regarder, ô Seigneur

Ne détourne pas ton visage de moi

O Seigneur, entends ma voix quand j'appelle

Ayez pitié et répondez

De toi mon coeur a parlé

«Cherchez sa face

C'est ta face, ô Seigneur, que je cherche."

Ne cache pas ton visage

Ce n'est pas ton serviteur en colère

Tu as été mon aide

Ne m'abandonne ni ne m'abandonne

Ô Dieu mon aide !

Bien que père et mère m'abandonnent

Le Seigneur me recevra

Instruis-moi, Seigneur, sur ta voie

Sur un chemin égal, conduis-moi

Quand ils sont en embuscade, protégez-moi

De la cupidité de mes ennemis

De faux témoins se dressent contre moi

Expirant la fureur

Je suis sûr que je verrai la bonté du Seigneur

Au pays des vivants

Espère en lui, tiens bon et prends courage

Espérer dans le Seigneur

Gloire au Père

Et au Fils

Et au Saint-Esprit

Comme c'était au début

Est maintenant

Et le sera pour toujours

Amen
