The devil in hell we’re told was chained a thousand years he there remained

He neither complain nor did he groan but was determined to start a hell of his

own

He scattered tarantulas along the road put thorns on cactus and horns on toad

Lengthened the horns of the Texas steer put an addition to the rabbits ear

Put a little devil in the bronco steed and poisoned the feet of the centipede

The rattlesnake bites you the scorpion stings

The mosquito delights you with his buzzing wings

The sunburst are there and so the ants

And if you sit down you’ll need have soles on your pants

The wild boar rooms on a black chaparral it’s a hell of a place that he has for

hell

The heat in the summers are hundred and ten too hot for the devil too hot for

men

The red pepper grows upon the banks of the brook

The Mexican use it in all that he cook

paradis

Et le diable a dit maintenant j'ai tout ce qu'il faut pour que ce soit un bon enfer et il

réussi

Il a commencé par mettre des épines partout dans les arbres

Il a mélangé le sable avec des millions de puces

Il a éparpillé des tarentules le long de la route, mis des épines sur des cactus et des cornes sur des crapauds

Allongé les cornes du bouvillon du Texas, ajouté à l'oreille du lapin

Mettez un petit diable dans le coursier bronco et empoisonnez les pieds du mille-pattes

Le serpent à sonnette vous mord les piqûres de scorpion

Le moustique vous ravit avec ses ailes bourdonnantes

Le rayon de soleil est là et donc les fourmis

Et si vous vous asseyez, vous aurez besoin d'avoir des semelles sur votre pantalon

Les chambres des sangliers sur un chaparral noir c'est un sacré endroit qu'il a pour

l'enfer

La chaleur des étés est cent dix trop chaude pour le diable, trop chaude pour

Hommes

Le poivron rouge pousse sur les rives du ruisseau

Le Mexicain l'utilise dans tout ce qu'il cuisine

Dînez avec l'un d'entre eux et vous êtes obligé de crier
