It’s all turning out to be such a scene

What I thought reality really just wasn’t me

Busting my balls working 9 to 5

Worrying about my bills and how I’d survive

On my own and all alone

With my ma telling me how big I had grown

When all I really wanted was art and rock n' roll

Deep, down and dirty into the sewer

Washed away with the piss and manure

Left looking for clear water to swim

Just to get out of the mess that you’re in!

Society says that I’m against their grain

Jittery and self-conscious they label me insane

Trying to make me scared of what I really wanna do

They say, «if you don’t make cash

Then you’re definitely screwed! «But if I don’t do what I want

I’ve gone deaf, dumb, and blind

With no control over hands or even my mind

Searching inside for something I might never find

All because of some bullshit financial bind!
