one day something so magical

fell from the sky

and all of the people

they gathered to try

to catch it, all that they wanted

forgetting they put it there

in the millions they traveled

in hope they might see

the closer they got

the more distant they’d be

to hold it, all that they wanted

and so into the darkness

they buried their light

and gave it a way

to the stars in the sky

un jour quelque chose de si magique

tombé du ciel

et toutes les personnes

ils se sont réunis pour essayer

pour l'attraper, tout ce qu'ils voulaient

dans les millions qu'ils ont parcourus

dans l'espoir qu'ils voient

plus ils se rapprochaient

plus ils seraient éloignés

pour le tenir, tout ce qu'ils voulaient

ils ont enterré leur lumière

et lui a donné un chemin

aux étoiles dans le ciel
