Once as a boy, he drew a line in the sand

And he watched with envy as they all threw Frisbee and swam

And his stomach grumbled hungry

And he tried to build up castle walls and roads

On his side of the line

As the afternoon sun pushed down

His lonely eyes grew heavy and tired
