Thank you so much friends

I was, I was having a drink with my old teacher

He is 102 now

And this was, he was just, about 97 at the time

And I poured him a drink and

He clicked my glass and said:

«Excuse me for not dying»

I kinda feel the same way

I want to thank you not just for this evening

But for the many years that you’ve tkept my songs alive

I appreciate it

I don’t want anyone to get alarmed

I know that you probably never seen

One of these before, but it goes by itself

J'étais, je prenais un verre avec mon ancien professeur

Il a 102 ans maintenant

Et c'était, il n'avait que 97 ans à l'époque

Et je lui ai servi un verre et

Il a cliqué sur mon verre et a dit :

"Excusez-moi de ne pas mourir"

Je ressens un peu la même chose

Je veux vous remercier non seulement pour cette soirée

Mais pendant les nombreuses années où tu as gardé mes chansons en vie

Je vous en suis reconnaissant

Je ne veux pas que quiconque s'alarme

Je sais que vous n'avez probablement jamais vu

L'un d'eux avant, mais ça va tout seul
