In the middle of the journey,

I came to myself.

In the dark forest,

Where the strange word was lost,

Where the true word no longer might be seen,

I find myself within a shirey wood.

Where the straight cast is lost in tangled ways —

in darkness.

Where the right path which guided me was lost.

I lost astray a narrow path to stray,

vansihed in the maze.

Au milieu du voyage,

Je suis revenu à moi.

Dans la forêt sombre,

Où le mot étrange s'est perdu,

Où le vrai mot ne pourrait plus être vu,

Je me retrouve dans un bois de comté.

Où le casting droit est perdu de manières enchevêtrées -

dans la noirceur.

Au milieu du voyage,

Je me retrouve dans un bois de biais,

Où le droit chemin qui me guidait s'est perdu.

Où le vrai mot ne pourrait plus être vu.

J'ai perdu un chemin étroit pour m'égarer,

Où le droit chemin s'est perdu dans des chemins enchevêtrés.

Je me retrouve dans un bois de comté,

disparu dans le labyrinthe.
