One thing I ask of the Lord

This is what I seek

That I may dwell in the house of the Lord

All the days of my life

To gaze upon the beauty of the Lord

And to seek Him in His temple

For this reason I kneel before the Father

From whom every family in heaven

And on earth derives its name

I pray that out of his glorious riches

He may strengthen you with power

Through his Spirit in your inner being

So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love

May have power, together with all God’s people

To grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ

And to know this love that surpasses knowledge

That you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God

Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling

And to present you before his glorious presence

Without fault and with great joy

To the only God our Saviour

Be glory and majesty and power and authority

Through Jesus Christ our Lord

Before all ages, now and forevermore!

Une chose que je demande au Seigneur

C'est ce que je recherche

Afin que j'habite dans la maison du Seigneur

Tous les jours de ma vie

Contempler la beauté du Seigneur

Et le chercher dans son temple

C'est pourquoi je m'agenouille devant le Père

De qui chaque famille au paradis

Et sur terre tire son nom

Je prie pour que de ses richesses glorieuses

Il peut vous fortifier avec puissance

Par son Esprit dans votre être intérieur

Afin que Christ habite dans vos cœurs par la foi

Et je prie pour que vous, étant enraciné et établi dans l'amour

Peut avoir le pouvoir, avec tout le peuple de Dieu

Saisir à quel point l'amour du Christ est large, long, haut et profond

Et connaître cet amour qui surpasse la connaissance

Afin que vous soyez remplis à la mesure de toute la plénitude de Dieu

Maintenant à Celui qui est capable de t'empêcher de tomber

Et pour te présenter devant sa glorieuse présence

Sans faute et avec une grande joie

Au seul Dieu notre Sauveur

Soyez gloire et majesté et puissance et autorité

Par Jésus-Christ notre Seigneur

Avant tous les âges, maintenant et pour toujours !
