I don’t do well if I’m kept behind

This office desk inside

It makes me loose my mind

Which wanders endlessly

Where all the birds fly freely

With their silhouettes

In perfect symmetry

I got a pocketful of poetry

I’ve got a head full of songs

A heart with wings

You couldn’t tie me down to anything

And that’s enough for me

I draw doodles of eccentric faces

In the margin spaces

Of important papers

Then I hand them in

With a comedic grin

They ask if I need help

Oh, where do I begin'

I got a pocketful of poetry

People all good lovingly they tell me

Do as you should, all will be well, they say

Life is a test, please give the best answer

A or B or C, pick one instantly

What if there’s so much more to me'

I got a pocketful of poetry

Je ne vais pas bien si je suis retenu

Ce bureau à l'intérieur

Ça me fait perdre la tête

Qui erre sans fin

Où tous les oiseaux volent librement

Avec leurs silhouettes

En parfaite symétrie

J'ai une poche de poésie

J'ai la tête pleine de chansons

Un cœur avec des ailes

Tu ne pouvais pas m'attacher à quoi que ce soit

Et ça me suffit

Je dessine des griffonnages de visages excentriques

Dans les espaces de marge

Des papiers importants

Ensuite, je les remets

Avec un sourire comique

Ils me demandent si j'ai besoin d'aide

Oh, par où commencer ?

J'ai une poche de poésie

J'ai la tête pleine de chansons

Un cœur avec des ailes

Tu ne pouvais pas m'attacher à quoi que ce soit

Et ça me suffit

Les gens sont tous bons avec amour, ils me disent

Faites comme il faut, tout ira bien, disent-ils

La vie est un test, veuillez donner la meilleure réponse

Et s'il y avait tellement plus pour moi ?
