Woke up this morning to the six o’clock news

Some little loser he’s got something to prove

Well you know he’s got a big mouth running for someone standing so small

Phony man with his head in the sky trying to take it all

We’re sick and tired of the words that you preach

Your threats and values and the garbage you teach

Some man with a Bible in his hand says we’re living in sin

You criticize until there’s blood in our eyes and we’re gonna do you in

I’v seen them hurt and I’ve seen them in the shadows, such a crying shame

They’ve taken money from the crippled in the ghettos so don’t you play their
