It was like a town in Florida in the, in the fifties you know

I don’t know, there’s a lot of white buildings, and

They were really white, I could see them--

Were about seven or eight stories tall, all the

All the people were walking around, and

It just looks so good, you know, they all had, uh

Blue dresses and nice pants on, you know, they’re

All of them are drinking pop from, you know

With straws in the bottles

Things were lookin', you know, sun was shining so bright

The downtown looked incredible, I couldn’t believe it, there was

Gliders flyin' around in the sky

These guys flying around in gliders, you know, and

They’d swoop between the buildings and they

They go down the alley ways, you know

And make a sharp left and a sharp right

And, uh, it’s like they

I couldn’t believe that it was really happening, you know

So I said, you know, «I don’t believe this;

this isn’t real»

And just as I said that, this guy in the glider, it was

Coming right through the center of town

And he ran into the building in the middle of town

Fifteen story high building, right in the center of town

He started tumbling through the air, you know

And his glider crashed in the alley and, uh

I noticed this couple on the, uh, on the parking lot

And, uh, they, they were just walking together in conversation, you know

Like nothing else was happening

And, uh, looking up they noticed a tumbling man coming through the air

And uh, he, he came right down and landed right on them and made an awful sound

And, uh, I ran over there, I could see that they were really gone, you know

But on the ground beside them was this little baby

Dressed in—it just had a red blanket wrapped around it

So I picked it up and took it to my car

Over on the corner which wasn’t too far away

And I put it in the back seat

I don’t know whether it was a boy or a girl

I didn’t look, you know, I just put it down

It was sleeping and I looked and a crowd had gathered on the parking lot

This beautiful lady was coming down the street

And I looked at her and she looked right at me, and

She said, «That's my baby in the back of your car there»

I said, «Oh no, that baby belongs to that

To that dead couple on the parking lot»

And she said, «No, no you’re wrong, you’re wrong

What happened to them?»

Comptaient environ sept ou huit étages, tous les

Tous les gens se promenaient, et

Ça a l'air si bon, tu sais, ils avaient tous, euh

Des robes bleues et de jolis pantalons, vous savez, ils sont

Ils boivent tous des boissons gazeuses, vous savez

Avec des pailles dans les bouteilles

Les choses semblaient, tu sais, le soleil brillait si fort

Le centre-ville avait l'air incroyable, je ne pouvais pas y croire, il y avait

Des planeurs volent dans le ciel

Ces gars qui volent dans des planeurs, vous savez, et

Ils plongeaient entre les bâtiments et ils

Ils descendent les ruelles, tu sais

Et faire un virage à gauche et un virage à droite

Et, euh, c'est comme s'ils

Je ne pouvais pas croire que ça se produisait vraiment, tu sais

Alors j'ai dit, vous savez : « Je ne crois pas cela ;

ce n'est pas réel »

Et juste au moment où j'ai dit ça, ce gars dans le planeur, c'était

En passant par le centre-ville

Et il a couru dans le bâtiment au milieu de la ville

Immeuble de 15 étages, en plein centre-ville

Il a commencé à dégringoler dans les airs, tu sais

Et son planeur s'est écrasé dans la ruelle et, euh

J'ai remarqué ce couple sur le, euh, sur le parking

Et, euh, ils, ils marchaient juste ensemble en conversation, vous savez

Comme si rien d'autre ne se passait

Et, euh, en levant les yeux, ils ont remarqué un homme qui tombait dans les airs

Et euh, il, il est descendu et a atterri droit sur eux et a fait un son affreux

Et, euh, j'ai couru là-bas, j'ai pu voir qu'ils étaient vraiment partis, tu sais

Mais sur le sol à côté d'eux se trouvait ce petit bébé

Habillé : il n'y avait qu'une couverture rouge enroulée autour

Alors je l'ai ramassé et je l'ai emmené dans ma voiture

Au coin qui n'était pas trop loin

Et je le mets sur le siège arrière

Je ne sais pas si c'était un garçon ou une fille

Je n'ai pas regardé, tu sais, je l'ai juste posé

Il dormait et j'ai regardé et une foule s'était rassemblée sur le parking

Cette belle dame descendait la rue

Et je l'ai regardée et elle m'a regardé droit dans les yeux, et

Elle a dit : "C'est mon bébé à l'arrière de votre voiture là-bas"

J'ai dit : " Oh non, ce bébé appartient à cela

À ce couple mort sur le parking »

Et elle a dit: "Non, non tu as tort, tu as tort

Que leur est-il arrivé?"
