Another weekend and I feel so low

All dressed up but nowhere to go

Just a voice on the radio

To make me feel good inside

It seems so long since those crazy days

Hot summer nights and long lazy days

Then we both went our own separate ways

Trying to feel good inside

I got so close, I had you here in my hand

I’d turn back time but I’m only a man

I’d give this right arm to see you again

But that can’t be done

Now I don’t know if you’re alive or you’re dead

All I’ve got is a picture of you in my head

If I knew you were happy, at least I’d accept

And try to feel good inside

I think about the times we had again and again

But there ain’t no use in remembering when

We can’t control time, the hand or the pen

Having written it just moves on

Un autre week-end et je me sens si bas

Tout habillé mais nulle part où aller

Cela semble si long depuis ces jours fous

Chaudes nuits d'été et longues journées de farniente

Ensuite, nous sommes tous les deux partis chacun de notre côté

Essayer de se sentir bien à l'intérieur

Je suis devenu si proche, je t'avais ici dans ma main

Je remonterais le temps mais je ne suis qu'un homme

Je donnerais ce bras droit pour te revoir

Mais cela ne peut pas être fait

Maintenant, je ne sais pas si tu es vivant ou tu es mort

Tout ce que j'ai, c'est une photo de vous dans ma tête

Si je savais que tu étais heureux, au moins j'accepterais

Et essayez de vous sentir bien à l'intérieur

Je repense aux fois que nous avons eu encore et encore

Mais il ne sert à rien de se souvenir quand

Nous ne pouvons pas contrôler le temps, la main ou le stylo

Après l'avoir écrit, il suffit de passer à autre chose
