I dropped a few shells on my way

Far is the dune of the ruby sand

White silent houses weep at night

Held the echo of her name

So I picked a few thorns on the road;

Showed me where

Drew a portrait of her

J'ai laissé tomber quelques obus sur mon chemin

Loin est la dune du sable rubis

Où je serais assis

Et regarde le temps s'arrêter

J'ai traversé un village de glace

Les maisons blanches et silencieuses pleurent la nuit

Un lac qui ne se brise jamais

A tenu l'écho de son nom

Je suis allé tout droit, le labyrinthe s'est effondré ;

Elle pourrait me trouver

J'ai vu des bougies allumées sur une colline ;

La lumière ou la pensée est restée immobile

L'horizon était déguisé

Comme un long couloir

Alors j'ai cueilli quelques épines sur la route ;

Le sens des flèches

M'a montré où

Le receveur dans mon rêve

Dessiné un portrait d'elle

Je suis allé tout droit, le labyrinthe s'est effondré ;

Et n'a jamais regardé derrière

Je suis presque là

Et il n'y a pas de retour ;
