God made man

Gave him rule over Earth and sea

There was friendship and harmony

Between creator and humanity

Then temptation came

And foolishly man disobeyed

From them two came into the world

And in his shame man could no longer stand in the presence of God

His thoughts became futile

His heart was darkened

And he exchanged the truth of God for a lie

Worship created things, rather than God himself

Giving over to his shameful desires

But God has a plan to reconcile his people back to him

Unfolding down through history

For he so lover the world

That he gave to man his only son and punished him instead of us

Bruised for me, he was hung upon a tree

Mocked and cursed for all to see

The Lord and Saviour of humanity

And then the darkness came

Evil thought he’d won the day

But death could not hold onto him and on day three he rose again

The price was fully paid

But God has a plan to reconcile his people back to him

Unfolding down through history

For he so lover the world

That he gave to man his only son and punished him instead of us.

Lui a donné la domination sur la Terre et la mer

Il y avait de l'amitié et de l'harmonie

Entre créateur et humanité

Puis la tentation est venue

Et bêtement l'homme a désobéi

D'eux deux sont venus au monde

Et dans sa honte, l'homme ne pouvait plus se tenir en présence de Dieu

Ses pensées sont devenues vaines

Son coeur s'est assombri

Et il a échangé la vérité de Dieu contre un mensonge

Le culte a créé les choses, plutôt que Dieu lui-même

S'abandonner à ses désirs honteux

Mais Dieu a un plan pour réconcilier son peuple avec lui

Déroulement à travers l'histoire

Car il aime tellement le monde

Qu'il a donné à l'homme son fils unique et l'a puni à notre place

Meurtri pour moi, il a été pendu à un arbre

Moqué et maudit aux yeux de tous

Le Seigneur et Sauveur de l'humanité

Et puis l'obscurité est venue

Le mal pensait qu'il avait gagné la journée

Mais la mort n'a pas pu le retenir et le troisième jour, il est ressuscité

Le prix a été entièrement payé

Mais Dieu a un plan pour réconcilier son peuple avec lui
