I always thought it fitting

The way they chose the next victim

With a bouquet of dying flowers

And how happy they appeared

As they ducked into the smiling hearse

But I quite fancied them losing their lifeblood

In a hotel room somewhere with a lot of palm trees

Because eventually they will see that our weaknesses are all

It takes to make the most divine of flowers wither

J'ai toujours pensé que ça convenait

La façon dont ils ont choisi la prochaine victime

Et comme ils sont apparus heureux

Alors qu'ils plongeaient dans le corbillard souriant

Mais j'ai bien imaginé qu'ils perdaient leur force vitale

Dans une chambre d'hôtel quelque part avec beaucoup de palmiers

Parce qu'ils finiront par voir que nos faiblesses sont toutes

Il faut faire faner la plus divine des fleurs
