I was sick

I was tired

I was standing in the rain near a dog tied to a wire

It wandered near

I looked away

I looked up and saw a mirror among the pigeons and the planes

I stumbled out into the waste

Looked at the clouds, looked at the space

And saw all the pieces falling down

Obscuring lights along the ground

Felt in my feet, felt in my legs

The coldest breeze upon the ledge

And I saw myself instead

And I was wasting away

J'étais malade

J'étais fatigué

Je me tenais sous la pluie près d'un chien attaché à un fil

Il a erré près

J'ai détourné le regard

J'ai levé les yeux et j'ai vu un miroir parmi les pigeons et les avions

Je suis tombé dans les déchets

Regardé les nuages, regardé l'espace

Et j'ai vu tous les morceaux tomber

Obscurcir les lumières au sol

Ressenti dans mes pieds, ressenti dans mes jambes

La brise la plus froide sur le rebord

Et je me suis vu à la place

Et je dépérissais
