Bad Day - Samiam

it’s been another bad day

just saw a dog get hit on the freeway

with my stomach in my mouth

i almost hit a truck driving in the next lane

spent all my money on beer

and i’ve got rent to pay

i was late again this morning

i’m laying in the bed i’ve made

if i had a fall out shelter

Bad Day

i could lock myself inside and sleep

somebody could come and drop a bomb on me maybe then something would change

lately i can’t stand people

they’re always rubbing me the wrong way

i don’t feel like smiling

it wouldn’t look right on my face

that’s just the way i feel

it’s been another bad day.

Je viens de voir un chien se faire frapper sur l'autoroute

avec mon estomac dans ma bouche

j'ai failli heurter un camion circulant dans la voie d'à côté

j'ai dépensé tout mon argent en bière

et j'ai un loyer à payer

j'étais encore en retard ce matin

je suis allongé dans le lit que j'ai fait

si j'avais un abri antichute

Mauvais jour

je pourrais m'enfermer à l'intérieur et dormir

quelqu'un pourrait venir et lâcher une bombe sur moi peut-être que quelque chose changerait

dernièrement je ne supporte pas les gens

ils me frottent toujours dans le mauvais sens

je n'ai pas envie de sourire

ça n'irait pas bien sur mon visage

c'est juste ce que je ressens

ça a été une autre mauvaise journée.
