New Tattoo - Saving Abel

Sometime in the summer of '96

I was off on a road trip

A couple hundred bucks and a case of beer

Outside Panama City limits is where it all begins

2:00 A.M., I saw hazard lights

Appeared to be a dame distressed in the night

She was 5'6″ and, damn, she was built

I slammed on the brakes and got sideways and told her to get in

She said, «Where you headed, to the city?»

I said, «Yeah!

I’m gonna have some fun»

She tossed her hair back in confidence

And said, «Mind if I come?»

Two days later, we ain’t left the room

Did all in there that we could think to do

I could see she was restless, so we hit the town

Ended up at a place where the windows read:

«Tattoos, piercings, belly rings here»

Into the back she went and disappeared

Reappeared an hour late cheesing ear to ear

I thought, «Hell, I need to try and get back there»

When she unzipped her pants and said, «Looky here

I got a brand new tattoo

One week passed;

woke up a day late for work

I found my goodtime gone and she took my shirt

Drove by all the places that we had been

Au cours de l'été 96

J'étais parti en road trip

Quelques centaines de dollars et une caisse de bière

En dehors des limites de la ville de Panama, c'est là que tout commence

2 h du matin, j'ai vu des feux de détresse

Semblait être une dame en détresse dans la nuit

Elle mesurait 5'6″ et, putain, elle était bâtie

J'ai appuyé sur les freins et je me suis mis sur le côté et lui ai dit de monter

Elle a dit : « Où vous êtes-vous dirigé, vers la ville ? »

J'ai dit : " Oui !

Je vais m'amuser »

Elle rejeta ses cheveux en arrière avec confiance

Et a dit : "Ça te dérange si je viens ?"

Deux jours plus tard, nous n'avons pas quitté la pièce

A fait tout ce que nous pouvions penser à faire

Je pouvais voir qu'elle était agitée, alors nous sommes allés en ville

A fini à un endroit où les fenêtres indiquaient :

« Tatouages, piercings, anneaux de ventre ici »

Dans le dos, elle est allée et a disparu

Réapparu avec une heure de retard en criant d'une oreille à l'autre

J'ai pensé : "Bon sang, je dois essayer d'y retourner"

Quand elle a dézippé son pantalon et dit : « Regarde ici
