We have survived all on our own

Wide, the Earth opens below

Hills rise and steppes they shift

Trembling the Earth at our feet

Downwards end our deceit

Mountains they crumble below

Oceans wash them away

So too does our past

Blindly consuming it all

Greed without care

We claim and build

This place from nothing

It seems far too good to be
