She was opening up an elevator

On a rainy day

Sitting on a little stool

And looking far away

When I asked if she would like to take me

To another floor

She laughed and said she probably would

And then she closed the door

Elle ouvrait un ascenseur

Un jour pluvieux

Assis sur un petit tabouret

Et regarde au loin

Quand j'ai demandé si elle voulait m'emmener

Vers un autre étage

Elle a ri et a dit qu'elle le ferait probablement

Et puis elle a fermé la porte
