In this world of many pleasures

I know there’s some good times

The life of an alcoholic was a life that once was mine

Smiling on the outside

Inside crying all the time

Searching for companions but all alone without a friend

When I called on Jesus into my life He came

He took away my cravings

He changed this alcoholic into a child of a King

I was searching this world for fame

In a world of wine and whisky but it only brought me shame

Broken and dfeated

Finally I was brought down

Jesus looked down from heaven and He turned my life around
