I found this cabin in the cold woods

Thought I’d make myself a home

A cozy shelter from the black wolves

So they won’t get my bones

From the far I hear them howling

A song of hunger and despair

With empty stomach they come crawling

To bring me my nightmares

Thought that I could live inside

But all that ever moved there

Never made it out alive

Helpless

Endless

Distress

Lost in the woods so deep and cold

Where every child is growing old

They keep on pushing you inside

Try to hide

Inside this house of rotten trees

I hold and orchid close to me

Beautifully innocent of love

Unaware of fear

J'ai trouvé cette cabane dans les bois froids

J'ai pensé que je me ferais un foyer

Un abri douillet contre les loups noirs

Pour qu'ils n'obtiennent pas mes os

De loin je les entends hurler

Une chanson de faim et de désespoir

Avec l'estomac vide, ils viennent ramper

Pour m'apporter mes cauchemars

J'ai trouvé cette cabane dans les bois froids

Je pensais que je pouvais vivre à l'intérieur

Mais tout ce qui s'y est jamais déplacé

Je ne m'en suis jamais sorti vivant

Folie

Sans espoir

Sans fin

Détresse

Perdu dans les bois si profonds et froids

Où chaque enfant vieillit

Ils continuent de vous pousser à l'intérieur

Essayez de masquer

Dans cette maison d'arbres pourris

Je tiens une orchidée près de moi

Magnifiquement innocent d'amour

Inconscient de la peur
