I once heard a man say, 'a lot of time we hear and nod our heads

Nothing changes, it all just stays the same'

But why is that so true today?

Spanning from when time began, our actions rarely change

More than ever the heart becomes a stone

Instead of a beating drum with a purpose

Something’s missing, I can feel it

Something’s missing, a feeling that’s incomplete

You could hear the most profound thing ever spoken

And wake up the next day as if it never happened

I heard another man speak today continually using the phrase

'We need to leave a legacy for our families'

But what I want to know is where did our lives change from father and son to

dad on the run?

A vicious cycle of deviation, the time is now for an act of restoration

No longer will I settle for the standard of society, I will leave a legacy

No longer will I conform to the patterns of this earth, I will leave a legacy

Une fois, j'ai entendu un homme dire : " Beaucoup de temps, nous entendons et hochons la tête

Rien ne change, tout reste le même'

Mais pourquoi est-ce si vrai aujourd'hui ?

Depuis le début du temps, nos actions changent rarement

Plus que jamais le cœur devient une pierre

Au lieu d'un tambour battant avec un but

Il manque quelque chose, je peux le sentir

Tu pouvais entendre la chose la plus profonde jamais dite

J'ai entendu un autre homme parler aujourd'hui en utilisant continuellement l'expression

"Nous devons laisser un héritage à nos familles"

Mais ce que je veux savoir, c'est où nos vies ont-elles changé de père et fils à

papa en fuite ?

Un cercle vicieux de déviation, le temps est maintenant pour un acte de restauration

Tu pouvais entendre la chose la plus profonde jamais dite

Et réveillez-vous le lendemain comme si cela ne s'était jamais produit

Je ne me contenterai plus du standard de la société, je laisserai un héritage

Je ne me conformerai plus aux modèles de cette terre, je laisserai un héritage
