Gerry Rafferty
Gerry Rafferty était un auteur-compositeur-interprète britannique d'origine irlandaise et écossaise, né en 1947 en Écosse. Reconnu pour ses œuvres pop et rock, il a cofondé le groupe Stealers Wheel , qui a connu un succès international grâce au tube "Stuck in the Middle With You" . En solo, Rafferty a rencontré un vif succès avec son album "City to City" (1978), incluant le titre emblématique "Baker Street" . Sa musique, caractérisée par une sophistication mélodique et des textes introspectifs, a marqué durablement les scènes rock et pop. Rafferty est décédé en 2011, mais son influence musicale demeure considérable.
